SOMON Advanced Violin 4/4

The SOMON MDV-POVT101E is built for the serious player who needs an instrument that performs at a higher level. Constructed to a premium specification with carefully selected tonewoods, this violin delivers strong projection, tonal depth, and a responsive feel suited to advanced study, ensemble work, and performance. Each instrument is set up by a professional luthier — with careful attention to the nut, bridge, and string height — ensuring the instrument responds well and plays comfortably across all registers.

Fitted with Thomastik-Infeld Dominant strings — the benchmark synthetic-core string recognized as the global reference standard for over five decades. Dominant’s multi-strand Perlon core delivers a rich, warm tone with complex overtones, exceptional tuning stability, and a bow response that supports full expressive control from a delicate pianissimo to a powerful fortissimo.

A high-quality violin for serious and advanced players — superior tonewoods, professional luthier setup, and Thomastik-Infeld Dominant strings.
